Who's that bunny?

For the first time, Taylor did not cry while I gave her a bath! So, afterward, I had to snap some pictures of her in this adorable bunny robe. My cousin Amanda and her hubby Chad gave Taylor this cute little robe. How precious is this little bunny?!

It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

My friend Jenn recently blogged about people putting up their Christmas lights and turning them on before Thanksgiving. It drives me crazy, too!! Even if you put them up before Thanksgiving, atleast wait until Friday to turn them on. But for me, once Thanksgiving is over, I'm all about Christmas!!! I love the music, the decorations, the "Christmasey" smells and the holiday cheer! I finished putting up our decorations today! I also dressed Taylor in a 1st Christmas onsie yesterday. Here are some of my favorites...

One happy and thankful family!

The word "thankful" has a totally new meaning this year! And I'm sure you all know why! We are so thankful that God blessed our lives with Miss Taylor. She's our joy and our miracle. Our lives will never be the same and we are so excited about it!
We had lunch at Sam & Diane's. It was wonderful food and a relaxing afternoon!! Something about that living room just makes you want to fall on the couch and take a nap. We love spending time with them and Taylor loves being with her Grandparents!! For supper, we headed out to the Weaver's. Mom met us there and we had a great time!! Everyone got to love on Taylor and we enjoyed eating with two hands! And the dressing! Nothing is like Sue Weavers dressing (with onions, of course!) We had lots of laughs and got to see David and his family, whom we hadn't seen in a few years. Those boys have really grown up! And who can forget teasing Cori about her coffee mug of giblet gravy. She prefers to drink it!! Yuck! It was a great day, full of family and blessings!!

Taylor's New Trick

I could tell that Taylor's neck was getting a lot stronger when I would put her on my shoulder. So, yesterday, we put her on her stomach and she held her head up for 2 or 3 minutes. She's done it two other times today. I also let her lay on her tummy for about 15 minutes. She turns her head from side to side and loves it!! We can't believe how fast she's growing.

Hand-me-downs & Giggles

The first three pictures are of a cute hand-me-down outfit that Britten gave to Taylor. I know that there will be many more to come! I tried to describe the outfit to Lindsay, but she couldn't remember which one...do you remember now? Britten was atleast 7 or 8 weeks when she wore this outfit...maybe older. Taylor is just over 1 month and it already fits. The top is even a little short! The last three pictures are from yesterday. I was changing Taylor's diaper and she started giggling. I quickly grabbed the camera and started snapping away. She giggled three different times and it just melted my heart. She's growing so quickly we can't believe it!!!

There's that dimple!
I think she looks like my dad in the picture above. Definitely a Lewis!!

I love her smile!

What a cute little smirk she has on her face!

1 Month Old

It is so hard for me to believe that Taylor is a month old already! This little girl is our pride and joy. I have no idea what we did before her!! She is such a sweet baby. She loves to be held and cuddled. She is a very good eater and will definitely let you know when she is hungry. She is sleeping well through the night and takes a couple of naps during the day, usually in the afternoon and evening. She doesn't like to be put down much, when sometimes makes it hard for me to get things done...like shower or put on make-up!! But I love that she likes to be held. She is changing daily and I love to watch her new expressions. Being a mother is like nothing I can describe!!

Bath Time

Taylor has had quite a few baths since she was born, but she's been so fussy each time that it hasn't made for very pretty pictures. This morning, she was so cute and calm. I think she actually enjoyed it! Now, she is clean and smells so yummy!

Smiles

After church on Sunday, we put Taylor down on her play mat while we ate lunch. After lunch, I got out my camera and caught these two cute smiles. Nothing melts a mom's heart like sweet smiles!!! Isn't she precious?!

More in the Pink Hat

Here are two more pictures from the below post. Blogger wouldn't let me post them all at once.

Pink Hat

Our friend Cami gave Taylor this adorable pink hat. I've been dying to take pictures of Taylor in it. She was sleeping so soundly today, so I took off her clothes and laid her in front of the window in our living room. I couldn't decide which were my favorite. I had 10 picked out, but blogger only let me post 8. I'll try to get the other two up in another post. Thanks for the cute hat Cami...we LOVE IT!!!

Weekend in Review and Picture Update

I can't believe it, but Taylor is 3 weeks old today! It seems to FLY BY!! She is such a joy. She's so fun to cuddle and love on and steal kisses from. I can't believe how big she's getting.

We had lots of fun this last weekend. Dustin's aunt, cousin and his wife, and their twin girls came into town from East Texas. The twins, Elisabeth and Abigail, are 15 months old and cute as can be. Talk about free entertainment! They are so much fun to watch. They came in Thursday afternoon and we just hung out and my in-laws house in Slaton. On Friday, they came to Lubbock for lunch, then to the mall to walk around. We ended up in the play area at the mall. This was so much fun to watch them play. Since they have eachother, they are really tough girls. They run into things, each other, or other kids and they never even blink an eye! They are active and into everything. If you take your eye off them for one minute, they're gone or into something they shouldn't be. You'll notice little Abbie has a black eye and a skinned up forehead. Her daddy told us that they blacked her eye so that we could tell them apart...ha ha! She had blacked her eye back at home. Then, they stopped at a rest stop on their way to let the girls play and she took a nose dive in the gravel...that's where the skinned up forehead came from. I can't believe one of these days, I'll be chasing Taylor around like that.

On Saturday, we went back down to Slaton to do what we do best...visit and EAT!! We had so much fun. It's always nice to be with family!
