Kid Sittin'

So, after the first week, I LOVE my new job!! I had 2 girls this week (Bryten is 3 1/2 and Shelbi is 16 months). Thatcher will start on Monday. It has been so awesome. You're probably thinking what could be so great about wiping bottoms and cleaning bottles?! As that's not always the most fun, where else can you hide under a tent (sheet in the living room) and eat as many cinnamon rolls and cookies as you want (prepared by the 3 1/2 yr old chef) and not gain any weight?! Where else can you lay around on the floor and read books? Where else can you laugh so hard when asked, "Whatcha got in there, whiskey?" It was not whiskey, it was diet coke. Where do kids come up with this stuff? We've baked cookies, played with Floam, I've had my hair done in many different styles, and drank many glasses of tea with my favorite dolls. I truly feel like God created me to do just this. I feel like it's the perfect fit for me. The girls are wonderful and a true blessing. They are so polite and sweet. Bryten loves to be my big helper. And Shelbi loves to sing and dance. I'll keep you all posted on how everything continues. Thanks to you all who have prayed for us as we make this transition. God has truly blessed us!

I am so happy you are enjoying your new life. We do miss you at Carillon. At least I do. I will be in town the week of January 22, so try and find a free night.
