We had an absolute blast in Georgia this past week! It was a very much needed vacation. We went to Lane Packing, Savanah, Tybee Island, the pool, Lindsay and I got pedicures, and the boys went golfing. We ate at some great restaraunts and had so much fun watching our girls play together. I will post more pictures soon...I promise.
I guess the great vacation was getting me ready for the craziness that awaited us when we arrived home. As many of you know, I have gall stones. I've been having lots of problems with them lately and will be having my gall bladder removed on June 25. On top of the pain of gall bladder attacks, I found out today that I have SHINGLES!!! They are so nasty! I don't have any pain with them, but the doctor said that I don't have any pain YET. So pain is expected. And from those I've talked to that have had shingles, I have heard the pain is pretty intense! I feel like an 85 year old woman...I'm falling apart. :) I also found out yesterday that the two girls I keep are moving. I don't want to say much about it here, but it's kind of a crazy situation for their family. Please say a little prayer for those sweet girls and their parents.
So, as I said, when it rains, it pours! I am hoping now that all of the bad is done and over with. I don't think I could handle anything else! I'm so thankful that it's summer and Dustin is home more. We are going to have lots of fun family time this summer!

Blog Topic Catch-Up
I am behind two weeks on the blog topics. Here is catch-up...
Talents/Hobbies
1) I love sports and aerobics classes. These are definitely hobbies, and some sports could qualify as talents. I'm pretty much game to try anything. I'm not a big fan of working out on my own, but I love aerobics classes.
2) I love photography. I know it's not a shock to anyone! Once again, it's definitely a hobby, and I think it's becoming more and more of a talent. I have a long ways to go, but I truly enjoy it!
3) I can stand on my head for a really long time. In fact, my mom and I have had some pretty crazy competitions, because she's really good at it too. I guess this talent is genetic!
4) I really enjoy singing. I would say it's a talent. I sing in my car, mostly, but also sing on our worship team at church.
5) I can say the books of the Bible in one breath...all 66 of them...thanks to Terry Newton. Again, big shock to you that know me well and know how fast I can talk!
Favorite Movie Characters
1) Andi Anderson (Kate Hudson) in How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days - "Does Princess Sophia want to come out and play?"
2) Dupree (Owen Wilson) in You, Me and Dupree - "The downstairs toilet is on the fritz again. We might need some toilet paper."
3) Lloyd (John Cusack) in Say Anything
4) Will Hunting (Matt Damon) in Good Will Hunting - "How do you like them apples?"

Kevin & Meggie
I photographed Kevin & Meggie's engagement session last night. They are tying the knot in September here in Lubbock. I've known Meggie for years. She and her sister both went to school in Slaton. I've been to lots of birthday and swimming parties out at her parents old house in Ransom Canyon. Poor Kevin, Meggie and I talked non-stop last night. I'm surprised there was enough oxygen left for him! We played around Lubbock for a while, then it started pouring, so we headed out to Ransom. It was fun to shoot somewhere different. I love all the one's overlooking the lake. Here are some of my favorites. I had so much trouble narrowing them down this much!! I had so much fun, you two!
Deusterhaus Family
I had the privilege of photographing the Deusterhaus family in Levelland yesterday morning. We hung out and took pictures on South Plains campus. My mom works with Sharon at Whiteface. It was so great to get to meet all of you. Ya'll were a fun family and a great bunch to photograph!! These are just a few of my faves from the morning...
This is Sharon and Tony. They are so cute together!
These are Sharon and Tony's children...sorry I don't remember everyone's name. :)
The girls...
